Pickled Mangoes Recipe

Yummy Pickled Mangoes

Ingredients:

  • 9 green mangoes (peeled and cut into thick slices)
  • 5 cups brown sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cups rock or table salt
  • 1 Tabplespoon red liquid food coloring

Steps:

  1. In large pot, combine brown sugar, water, vinegar, salt and food coloring.
  2. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Let cool to room temperature.
  4. Place sliced green mangoes into 1 Gallon glass jar.
  5. Pour sauce over mangoes.
  6. Marinate for 24 – 48 hours in refrigerator.
  7. Enjoy!
