When’s the last time you treated yourself? I can hardly contain my excitement since I finally treated myself to a Swedish Massage from Tiffany Kahookele (Licensed Massage Therapist) at Beauty 23 Mobile Massage (in Waianae Mall, she has an office space inside 808 The Sweet Spot business location)! I’m so glad I did.
Tiffany has a heated massage table (and it stayed warm during the entire session) relaxed my muscles and the spa music she had playing was so calming. Her massage pressure was just right and she used heated towels to warm my muscles during and after my Swedish Massage. After my relaxing massage, she even gave me bottled water, which was a nice surprise, since I know how important it is to drink water soon after a massage (to rehydrate my muscles). I’m also making getting massages from Tiffany a monthly self-care priority so that I can recharge my body and keep my mind sharp for my cupcake creations!
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Note: The above photo was taken after I got my masage and that’s why my cheecks are red and I look like I just got up from a nap… because I did (my massage table nap). Note to self… next time take photo beforehand.
